Nucleus

A tear-drop from the right
awakes silently in despair
weeps without disturbing
the sleeping tongue.

It disturbs not the cheek
nor the nose but clings
on the half closed lid
weeps alone in the darkness.

From the left another awakes
in half sleep but stops
on lips and spreads its hands
widely to console the former.

Both share their pains in silence
and weep the whole night
but know not the painful sigh
from the sleepless heart.

When the heart falls asleep
all his friends rest in peace
but the heart seldom sleep
often makes others sleepless.
